Barbara Jean Hunt Britton, loving mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, and grandmother, was born in Dodge City, Kansas, March 12, 1925, and passed away Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Warner A. Britton; her parents, Lena Elizabeth Beggs Hunt, and Alonzo Birch (A.B.) Hunt; sister, Polly Pierce; nephew, William Britton; and brother-in-law, James Christopher (J.C.) Britton.

Barbara is survived by her son, Warner H. Britton (Debora); and daughters, Bonnie E. Britton, and Rebecca Britton Van Hoogmoed (Albert) and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
