Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of Wayne due to congestive heart failure. Born on September 27, 1951, in Fort Campbell, KY, his journey through life has left an indelible mark on all who knew him. From the beaches of Redondo to the communities of South Orange County, Wayne's dedication to his 39 years of work with the LA County Beaches and Harbors was a testament to his commitment to service and excellence.
Remembering Wayne, we cannot help but reflect on his profound role as a loving spouse, a proud father to Jared and Hayley, a father-in-law to Lindsey and Anthony, and a joyful grandfather to Brody, Presley, Keaton and Lyndyn. His legacy will live on in the cherished memories shared by friends and family, and in the boundless love that he bestowed upon those close to him.
May we all find comfort in each other and in the countless stories of joy, resilience, and love that defined Wayne's incredible 72 years.
May the love of those around you provide solace and strength in the days ahead. Wayne's memory will forever reside in our hearts.
Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at the beautiful South Shores Church in Dana Point, CA. Services will begin at 12:00pm, reception to immediately follow.
