John George Perri

John George Perri, 87 of Coto de Caza, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. He was born on April 26, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Angelina Perri. John grew up in Chicago until age 15 when his family moved to Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles he attended Garfield High School, and following his education he enlisted in the Air Force. John served his country honorably and proudly. It was while John was in the Air Force that he met the love of his life, Jeannine Thurman. She caught his eye cruising around in her little blue coupe and it was not long before he caught up with her in his black Ford convertible and the courtship began. John and Jeannine married on May 3, 1952 in Phoenix, AZ and have celebrated over 66 years of marriage.

John is survived by his beautiful wife, Jeannine; daughter, Debra Jean Cosbey; two sons, George Richard Perri (wife, Jill) and John David Perri (wife, Rachele); four grandchildren; Robin, Juliana, Evan, and Lauren; sister, Philomena Perri; furry babies, Piper, Frannie and Boo, Willow and Phoebe.

Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Ralph Perri.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Fairhaven Memorial Services from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 26872 Estanciero Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. Burial with Military Honors to follow the Mass at Ascension Cemetery, Lake Forest, CA.
