Rene Hovey

Rene is survived by his beloved wife, Domitila Hovey; his children; Mary Elizabeth Hovey; Jesus Rene Hovey; John Edward Hovey; and Christine H Caro (Esteban); his siblings; Josefa H Islas, Jose Arnoldo Hovey and Carolina Hovey Valdez; his grandchildren; Jamie A Hovey, Krystal R. Hovey (Arturo), Jaqueline Caro, Shelsey Caro and Stephen S Caro.

Rene was preceded in death by his father Rodolfo Hovey and his mother Gumesinda Salinas Hovey; his siblings; Maria J Guerra; Gilberto Hovey; Ramiro Hovey; Rodolfo C Hovey; Manuela B Mares; Maria Antonia H. Escobar and Maria Guadalupe Hovey.

A Visitation for Rene will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a Holy Rosary reciting at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, Mission, TX. A Funeral Departure will occur Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel where family will follow in procession for a Catholic Mass at 2:00 PM at St Joseph The Worker, in McAllen, followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission, TX.

Pallbearers will be Arturo Turi Martinez, John Anthony Laureles, Jon Luis Bocanegra, Isaiah Bocanegra, Stephen Scotty Caro, Ethan James Sanchez and Michael Anthony Martinez.
