Irma Aurora Gorena

Irma is survived by her son Michael Gorena (Maria); her grandchildren; Isabella, Jonathan and Jacob, her siblings; Belia De Los Santos, Ruben Reyes, Leonel Reyes, Taurino Reyes, Gloria Cordonier and Linda De La Fuente.

Irma was preceded in death by her son David Gorena; her parents; Taurino Reyes and Carmen Ibanez; her sister Estela Rendon and brother Carlos Reyes.

Mrs. Gorena was a loving mother and grandmother, she adored her grandchildren and loved to play hide & seek with them. Mrs. Gorena was a Teacher for the Edinburg ISD for 10 + years at South Middle School and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and the many that knew her.

A Memorial Service for Irma will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary reciting at 7:00PM at Funeraria Del Angel, Mission, TX. A Mass will be held December 15, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 215 N 16th Ave. Edinburg, TX 78541 and a burial of ashes to follow at 11:00 AM at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, TX.
