She was preceded in death by her daughter, Marie I. Garcia; parents, Jose and Domitila Pulido; siblings, Jose Pulido and Alfonso Pulido.
Guadalupe is survived by her children, Benigna E. (Jose) Carcano, Francisco O. Garcia, Cynthia M. (Alvaro Jr.) Yepez; grandchildren, Brock A. Parson Jr., Benjamin A. Parson, Michael A. Carcano, Maximiliano A. Carcano, Francisco Garcia Jr., Marco A. Garcia, Xavier A. Yepez, Lorena M. Yepez, Yazmin A Yepez; great grandchild, Brock A. Parson III; siblings, Raul Pulido, Teresa Pulido, Maria Gomez, Baldemar Pulido, and Domingo Pulido; the father of her children, Francisco Garcia, and numerous extended family and friends.
Guadalupe lived a full life, she was a wonderful cook and was always very generous. Her Christian home was open to everyone. She was a devout Christian who made sure her children knew God and had a strong relationship with God. She prayed daily for all her children and grandchildren to be blessed. She spent hours reading The Bible and shared her favorite scriptures with everyone.
Guadalupe also like to spend time cooking, gardening, traveling and visiting family. She was always adamant about her home being clean and organized.
She lived in the RGV most of her life and a few years in Houston, TX.
She owned her own ceramic business, Mother of Pearl Ceramics; and also worked as a seamstress at Haggar’s, Dickies & Levi’s. In her later years, she dedicated her time to helping raise her grandsons while supporting her children’s dreams and careers.
She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel.
The interment will follow shortly after the service at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens.
