Gilbert Hernández, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, who was known for his strength, warmth, and great sense of humor. Gilbert was devoted to his family and worked hard to provide them with a loving home. His presence was a source of joy and support. He always found a way to fill his loved ones' lives with laughter and comfort. Gilbert had a great love for music and could often be found listening to music everywhere he went. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan who would cheer for them win or lose. His upbeat nature and optimism were unwavering qualities that he shared with everyone he met. He loved watching sports watching Western movies. His faith in Jehovah was unwavering and he made sure to always instill in his family the importance of values and morals.

Gilbert is survived by his spouse, Maria; his children: Dolores, Miguel Katherine, and Gilbert Jr.; his grandchildren: Melissa, Neymar, Marcelo, Leonel, Mila, and Maya; his siblings: Mary, Gina, Joe, Elias, and Fransisco; along with multiple brother and sister in laws and nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Though he is gone, his legacy of strength, loyalty, humor, faith, and love will forever be remembered.
