Sylvia Sanders

Sylvia (Bettelman) Sanders of North Hills, California, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015 (9 Iyar 5775), at 80. Services will be held Friday, May 1, 2015, at 1 pm, in the Eternal Light Chapel of Groman Eden Mortuary. Services will be officiated by Cantor Daniel E. Friedman, and will conclude Graveside, in Eden Memorial Park. Born September 18, 1934, she was the daughter of Al and Leah Bettelman, and the wife of Merle Sanders, with whom she celebrated 42 years of marriage. Together they had four sons, Craig (Anna), Corey, Garth (Cindy), and Morgan. She is pre-deceased by their daughter, Reneen (Of Blessed Memory). She is lovingly survived by her three grandchildren, Casey, Hayley, and Shelby (Garth and Cindy); and her two bothers, Ira and Sandy (Adrea).

Sylvia loved to dance. She was a huge fan and supporter of Little League baseball, and was affectionately known as the "Pin Lady', as she would collect pins to raffle off, and then donate the proceeds to Little League baseball. Her life was devoted to the love of her family.
