Stanley David Pearl was a man of many passions. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
unconditionally. Stan became an optometrist and built his own successful practice which he had for many years. He loved taking care of his patients. He adored travel and especially loved his many visits to Italy and Israel. He was a proud Zionist and at the age of 93 he returned to Israel with his baby brother Bernie. Though he couldn’t walk well, and needed to be pushed in a wheelchair, Stan had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of what turned out to be his final vacation. At 50, he learned to play tennis and fell in love with the game. He played until he was well into his 80s. He was an avid sportsman and loved playing and watching all sports. Stan was a voracious reader. He loved to learn. He loved people. And mostly, he loved his family. He was loved by so many. He will be greatly missed.
