Bonnie Gail Lewis, age 59, of Woodland Hills, California, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018 (28 Tevet 5778). Bonnie was born August 9, 1958 in East Meadow, New York, to Charles Anthony and Alice Mott (neé Buhler) Guss.
Bonnie is survived by her siblings, Charlene Guss, Donald Guss, and Ronald Davignon, her mother-in-law, Sandy Lewis; her sister-in-law, Karen Dabby; her brother-in-law, Gerald Kane; her aunt, Benita Roth, her nieces, Christina Courtland and Hailey and Taylor Kane; her best friend, Danny Gass; and her god children, Lily & Joseph Gass.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rodney Lewis, Of Blessed Memory.
Funeral services for Bonnie will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Groman Eden Mortuary, 11500 Sepulveda Blvd., Mission Hills, CA. Burial will follow in Eden Memorial Park. Services will be officiated by Cantor Michael Li-Paz. Bonnie is described by those who loved her as Super, Splendid, and Proud; a devoted wife, and a caring elementary school teacher. She was generous to a fault, and loving to the extreme. Bonnie was loved and appreciated, and she will be missed on this mortal plane. There is bound to be a party going in her heavenly home, so dress appropriately, and be ready for music, dancing, and fun.
