We will miss Marion so much.  Although we lived miles apart later in life we always communicated by phone and facebook/e-mails  and just picked up from where ever we last talked.  Marion was  more than a cousin to me as we lived not to far from each other growing up and went to school together in Junior High yrs.  I aspired to be able to play the piano like Marion and so I felt like she was my mentor.  When I was a baby she put me in her doll carriage and strolled me around the farm yard and promptly I fell asleep and she proudly presented me to the adults.  We had many a wonderful visits together and she will never be forgotten.  We will see her again someday in Heaven.  I envision Heaven and all our relatives who've gone on before, when Marion walked through those pearly gates!  Now we pray for her family left behind that Jesus would soothe their sorrow!

I am Marion's cousin (Olea's daughter).  She would have been 11 years older than I.  I really enjoyed seeing her this July at our cousins funeral (Peters) in Victoria and am so happy I have those memories.  She was a cousin who loved family and would fly to Alberta for events that were happening in our family.  We appreciated seeing Marion at anniversaries and funerals, because we kept in touch with her even if she lived in British Columbia.  Gordon and Marion stayed in our home many times when they came to Alberta and we always had great visits.  I also remember them coming to mom and dads home in Provost when they made the trek to Alberta.  Before Marion had kids she made the most beautiful barbie clothes and sent them to our house for Trudy and I.  She was a beautiful seamstress.  I also remember  walking with her, Ila, Trudy and maybe Joan from Czar Lake to our grandma's and grandpa's house in Hughenden.  It was a long walk, but I think she enjoyed walking.  Another big memory was Marion's wedding day.  It was so much fun to see the excitement in her eyes.  It was a big deal for me to watch her get ready at grandma's before the wedding.
I am also thrilled to know that Marion loved the Lord and we will one day see each other again.

Marion was a dear friend for many years and my son Daniel's piano teacher when he was a child..  Marion and I stayed in touch after each of us had moved from Whonnock BC where we first met.  She will be missed and we pray God's comfort for all those she leaves behind.  We know she rests with the Lord now and look forward to seeing her in eternity one day.

I worked with Marion on 3 West at Ridge Meadows Hospital.  She was kind to her patients and her fellow staff. She had a deliberate and methodical way of working that got the job done. She was a good advocate who drew a line when she thought it needed to be drawn. 
After she retired I was lucky to have lunch and outings with her and another friend at various intervals. I spent a couple of days with her in Harrison and we enjoy the hot springs enormously. 
She will be missed by so many people. My sympathies to her family and loved ones. 

My sincere condolences. I have so many memories of Marion as we were growing up; time spent at the farm and all the family gatherings.

Sorry to hear Marion's passing. Have many fond memories spending time at the farm when we were young kids.. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the  family at this difficult time

I'm so sorry I will miss Marion's memorial service today.  Marion has been my neighbour the past couple of years at Cedar Manor.  I always enjoyed our conversations and especially one over a cup of coffee one Saturday morning at my place.  In the short time I knew Marion, she impressed me as a very kind, caring person who loved her family dearly and enjoyed helping others through her volunteer work.  Some people leave a lasting impression after only knowing them for a short while.....Marion was one of these special people.  My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to her family.  God bless.
