Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, she graduated from Independence High School and obtained her AA degree at Kings College. At age 19, she met Ronnie Lee Johnson and they married in 1970.
Sue was the most thoughtful, caring, and generous person. Her family values and genuine selflessness were beyond compare. She was always taking care of others, always before herself. She was very proud of her boys, Johnnie and Daniel and the business they all built together, RJS Logistics, and of course, all of her grandchildren.
She was always had a smile, made us laugh, and showed us how to love one another.
She loved living on the lake, going to the beach, listening to beach music, and dancing.
Where ever there was water and music.... Sue loved to be there.
Sue had a deep passion and concern for animals, was a long time member of the Humane Society.
