A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at McEwen – Mint Hill Chapel with The Reverend John Harrill officiating. The family will gather to greet friends following the service at Jimmies Restaurant of Mint Hill, 7024 Brighton Park Dr.
Darlene will be remembered as a devoted, caring, and loving wife and mother. She was a strong-willed woman with a devotion to her children and husband. She held true to her beliefs and touched the lives of everyone around her. Her charisma and joy was a blessing and she was truly the heart and soul of her family.
Darlene is survived by her beloved husband, Loy Stroupe; and her two sons, Eric and Daniel Stroupe.
