Lost her battle with AML on September 3, 2017.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dolores Kretman.
Kathy is survived by her caring, loving caregiver and partner in life, Bob Hagen; siblings, Cheryle (Dale) Cass, Melinda Wilwert, Donald Kretman, Jr., Dean (Tanya) Kretman, Daniel (Jane) Kretman, Annette (Randy) Roatch, Angela (Brian) Wiggins, Margaret (Tom) Lackner; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews; aunt, Lois (Lee) Newell; uncles, Paul and Babe Kretman.
Kathy’s family would especially like to thank the staff at Regions Hospital and Dr. Jahagirdar for their exceptional care and dedication. Thanks also to Mabel Rohr for her expert care and to the nursing staff and PCAs on South 6 who became like a second family to Kathy. Special thanks to the infusion nursing staff for their excellent care.
Kathy’s journey was fought with hope, faith, and courage and was an inspiration to us all.
