Helen Ramsey

Preceded in death by husband, Philip; parents, Carl and Signe Aro; siblings, Dorthy, Carl, George, Henry, Robert; and daughter, Joyce Leight. Survived by sons, Curtis Ramsey, Charles Ramsey, and Clifford (Paulette) Ramsey; grandchildren, Sandra (Robert) Solheim, Shawn (Elizabeth) Leight, Carla (Todd) Stueve, Tracey Olson, Dean (Pam) Ramsey, Marie (Darren) Melland, Sheila (Corey) Paulson, Philip (Natalie) Ramsey, Gordy Ramsey, Mark Ramsey, Brian (Carolyn) Ramsey; 21 great-grandchildren; many other relatives.

Helen shared her love for Jesus with all those around her. She had an infectious joy for life, was always happy, and nothing bothered her. She deeply cherished every moment spent with family and friends. Helen was a favorite radio celebrity and was featured in many television commercials and movies. She was beautiful inside and out winning the "Star of the North" beauty contest. Helen will be dearly missed by her beloved friends at New Brighton Christian Church where she attended for 44 years, and at Heights Manor where she lived for 35 years.

The family invites you to celebrate her life with them at 11 AM Tuesday, July 2 with visitation one hour prior at New Brighton Christian Church, 1500 29th Ave. NW. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
