Maria F. Leiva

Maria Leiva, a beloved matriarch of Ridge, passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2024, at the remarkable age of 104. Maria is now reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Domingo, and her dear sons, Raul and Luis, who preceded her in death.

Maria’s life was graced by the presence of her adoring siblings: Juan, Ana, Isidro, Jose, Carmen, and Griselda.

Maria was also a devoted mother of five, and her life was centered around her family. She leaves behind her loving children: Paz and her husband Jorge, Eleonor and her husband Jose, and Nelson and his wife Miriam. She was the cherished grandmother of Karen, Eileen, Christian, Bryan, Maria Paz, Marisol, Alejandra, Raul, Luis, Ivan, Maria Andrea, Claudia, Valeria, Cesar, Miriam Francis, and Pamela.

A devoted housewife, Maria found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in cooking and gardening. Her home was always filled with the warmth of her meals and the beauty of her well-tended garden, both of which were expressions of her love and care for her family.

Maria’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
