Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who lived her life with joy and a passion for the simple pleasures of travel, music, and community. She cherished time spent with her daughters, Christine Pisano and her husband John, and Mary Nelson and her husband John. Her grandchildren, Stephanie and Anthony, brought immense joy to her life, as did her beloved furry grandkids—Bella, Peaches, Apples, Minnie, Pippi, and Demon. She leaves behind many cherished friendships, reflecting the warmth and love she shared with others throughout her life.
Margaret had a deep love for travel, especially to her favorite destinations in California, Hawaii, Florida, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She also found great joy in her Bunko group, her Reading Club with the Bookies, and playing Mexican Train with friends and family. Her home was often filled with the sounds of Irish and Elvis music, both of which she deeply loved.
A ceremony for the committal of Margaret's ashes will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 11 AM at Sea View Cemetery, 233 N Country Rd, Mount Sinai, NY 11766.
Margaret will be missed dearly by all who knew her, but her spirit, love, and joy for life will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
