Leda M. Moncayo

Leda M. Moncayo, age 94, of Nesconset, New York passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Moncayo (Doug), and her son Anthony Moncayo. Leda was a loving and sociable woman who loved to get dressed to the nines for affairs such as Halloween and New Years Eve. She was a hard working woman, working for many years in the NYS courts, and then in realty until she was 82! A devoted member of her community she served as a councilwoman in Brookhaven Town as well.

Visitation for Leda will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 and Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 7:00 - 9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, New York 11764. A funeral mass will occur Friday, September 29, 2023 at 9:45 AM at St Louis de Montfort RC Church, 75 New York Ave, Sound Beach, New York 11789. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
