Mom was a lover of all things nature, crystals, mystical, magical and spiritual to her. She loved all people truly without judgement, she would give the shirt off her back if it was the last shirt she had and teach you how to make another one. Our mom had more crafting ability than anyone on the Home Network. She loved to crochet and taught many her love of the craft! She would write poetry and did since she was young, she made windchimes, did needlepoint, made necklaces and bracelets, the creativity flowed out of every pore she had. Mom’s heart was so big and she touched and stayed in everyone’s heart who met her, even for a moment. Some of the most special time for her was spent with her daughter’s, grandkids, family and friends. She was a very proud mom and grandma, she took those titles very seriously and told everyone who met her about us! Mom also loved her animal’s, her other babies, they were everything to her! Mom also loved the work she did, with her patient’s. Mom was a CNA for a long time and did it because of the people she got to meet and learn from. Mom felt everyone she met in life taught her something, and sometimes she would write about these special experiences. She loved working in the medical field and did it in many ways. She worked at the University of Utah Hospital among other care facilities like Cherry Hill, she did Home Health and with that Hospice care. Hospice care was one of her favorite things to do. She liked to help people make that journey and help the family as well, she was a very very special woman! Mom was also great with her hands, working as a Massage Therapist where she would also do Energy therapy, her favorite being Reiki.
Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch. -Jack Thorne-
