Scott,  you were a great teacher and taught me everything about electrical work. We had some killer times together and will never forget the river trip we went on. It was an experience I'll never forget. All the times we played golden tee at lunch and the one and only time I beat you and you weren't to happy about it..  Haha. I miss you brother! Till we meet again rest easy brother.  Love you man

We were so sad to hear the news of Scott's passing. He had an infectious laugh and smile that lit up the room. After Ken passed away Scott came by to visit us. It was great to visit with him and reminisce about the days growing up in Sandy. How kind and thoughtful it was of him to come by and take the time to visit. We hope that you will find comfort at this time knowing that he will continue to be close to you throughout your lives and that he will always be felt in your hearts. As much as you will miss him, we know that there is a sweet reunion on the other side that has taken place. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Dear Osterkamp family,
  We are so sorry for your loss.  So very sorry.  We have many memories of Scotty  growing up in our neighborhood.  Bless his heart, he was born to have fun and was always planning the next adventure! 
    Shortly after his dad passed away we needed an electrician.  Scotty came to our aid to solve our electrical issues. He was very professional, efficient and respectful.  We had a great time talking about his memories of growing up in our area.  During our conversation, he showed us his phone and tapped on a darling picture of Tonya.  He said, "She's the best thing that's ever happened to me AND because of her, look at our boys! Aren't they great?" Scotty was so proud of his little family.
   Know that we send our love to you at this tender time.  Scotty will be missed.

Kris and family, Tonya and boys - We have been so saddened at the sudden loss of our sweet Scott.  He grew up a part of our home and family.  Scott and the neighborhood boys were such good friends and had so many fun adventures.  We have so many great memories of Scott.  He vacationed with us and went on many scout outings with Lynn.  May angels surround your families at this time.  We are so comforted at the knowledge that Scott is now with his dad and his grandpa.

We had a lot of good times. 
Camping in Goblin Valley and exploring the rock maze and minds.
Four wheeling / Jeeping up in the Mountains. Rock climbing all along the Wasatch front. The sand dunes were always a blast with you, taking the dirt bikes and 4-wheelers out. We would just riding and getting lost in the sand dunes all day long without a care in the world. Until, dark when we couldnt find our camp. 

The time when your k5 blazer caught on fire deep in the woods and the first thing you grab to put it out was the supply of chocolate milk. Still laugh when I tell the story.

You taught many things....some very useful. Such as the time you came over and showed me how to wire cam lights. 

You are a good friend and will always be remembered.

Our hearts are broken.  What a kind and respectful person he was.  He was one of an elite group of friends that had so much fun together and made so many memories when they were boys in the neighborhood.  Scotty O Rest in Peace, til we meet again.

Scott, you're my first brother. We never saw eye to eye, we had differences, we had many sibling fights. I'm sorry for not being there for you as often as I should have.  I  know you are in a better place, with DAD and there's now an end to your pain. You were larger than life, always excelled at everything you did. You will be missed. Old friend...what can I say. We had the best of times. My deepest condolences to Tonya, the boys and Scotty's family.

Dearest Osterkamp Family; we are heartbroken to learn of Scott's death.  We loved him with all our hearts.  He was a good friend to Jason, and wonderfully respectful to us as Jason''s parents.  I do have a great story for his boys.  Scott caught a young teenager red handed writing graffiti on a cement wall in our neighborhood.  Scott marched him up to our front porch.  The teenager looked like a good kid who got caught up with the wrong friends who left him at the  wall to suffer the consequences.  Scott asked us what we wanted to do with him.  We asked him for his name and phone number and told him that if he returned the following day after church we wouldn't call the police or his Dad.  True to his word the boy returned the next day and cleaned all the graffiti of the wall.  A valuable lesson was learned by that young man.  That was Scott.  He always tried to do the right thing.  He was a kind and loyal friend. Rest In Peace Scott.  You were loved by so many.

To the Osterkamp family, I have no words that will heal your broken hearts. I'm truly sorry for your loss. I will forever hold a special place in my heart for my Scotty O!  I have some of my best memories in life growing up with Scott. I sure do value his friendship, this is a life taken way to soon.
