Norma Ann Petersen passed away peacefully at her home in West Jordan, Utah on November 25th, 2023. She was born March 11th, 1935 to Jack and Verda Mason.
She graduated from West High School where she met her high school sweetheart and love of her life Jack Holger Petersen. They were married in 1953 until his passing in December of 2022.
She worked for Salt Lake City School District as a volunteer coordinator at Northwest Intermediate School. She enjoyed the many friendships with the teachers and students that she made during her years working there.
Norma enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling, her word search books, and listening to Elvis. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always “the Boss” at all family get togethers. She cherished time with friends, and also had a very big heart for animals.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints- and loved teaching Primary & Cub Scouts.
She was an incredible Mother to her three sons; Kelly, Randy and Dana. She was also a wonderful Grandmother to 7 grandchildren and great Grandmother to 10 great grandchildren.
Norma was beautiful inside and out, as well as to anyone lucky enough to know her.
