Linda Marie Kern, age 78, of American Fork, Utah passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Linda was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on November 27, 1945, to parents Don Jess Skinner Sr. and Eden Cummings. She attended East High School and married Kenneth Campbell Kern Jr.
Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In her earlier days, she enjoyed collecting frogs. Her other hobbies included bowling, music (especially Elvis), and crocheting. Linda also had a special love for celebrating the holidays with her family.
Linda is survived by her children, Kenneth C. Kern III, Tom Kern, Chris Kern, and Daniel Kern; parents, Don Jess Skinner Sr., and Eden Cummings, sister Peg; brother, Edward Rae, ex-husband Kenneth Campbell Kern Jr.; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Matt Kern.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Rocky Mountain Masonic Lodge, 22 Settlement Canyon Road, Tooele, Utah 84074.
