June Ericson

June Cross Ericson, 87, passed away peacefully June 18, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born June 3, 1927 in Salt Lake City to Edward Cross and Jessie Williams, the youngest of six children. She graduated from South High School. Married Robert Duane Ericson Sr. on December 6, 1947, solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 17, 1960. She was an active member of the East Millcreek 9th Ward and served as a ward librarian for many years.

She is survived by Robert, her husband of 67 years. Survived by sister: Winnifred Trythall; children: Cheri Lynn (Edwin) Goodman, Elaine (Bruce) Gold, Alan (Rochelle) Ericson; grandson: Ian (Tasha) Ericson and great-grandson: Cache Ericson. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Kenneth, Stan and William Cross; sister: Ada Hatch; son: Robert Duane Ericson, Jr. and grandson Eric Gold.

Viewing will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 between 10:00 – 10:45 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 S. Highland Dr.). Followed by graveside service 11am at Elysian Gardens (1075 E. 4580 S.).
