Jeff Zenger, age 64, passed away unexpectedly in his home on August 23, 2021. Born December 26, 1956 in Salt Lake City to Ronald Max Zenger and Marlene M. Black McDonough.
He earned two degrees from San Francisco State University; Business Management and Outdoor Recreational Therapy. His love of adventure and peace that the outdoors provided motivated him to share it with others who otherwise could not through programs such as the National Disabilities Center for over 25 years. He floated many rivers throughout the world as a river guide; skied many mountains as Ski Patrol and most recently as ski instructor at Park City. He could always “out-bike, out-paddle and out-ski” many. He was a life-long advocate of healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle.
Jeffs greatest love is his kids.The adventure of parenthood was unmatched and grounding. He loved everyone around unconditionally.
Jeff is survived by his son; Hunter Ronald Zenger, Daughter; Abigail Loraine Zenger, and ex-wife; Cyndee Burnham. He is also survived by his sisters; Jennifer Zenger and Judy Zenger Zimmerman (Brad). He is preceded in death by his parents; and his younger brother, Jordan Ronald Zenger.
A graveside ceremony will be held for family and friends Tuesday August 31, at 2:00 pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 S. Highland Dr., Salt Lake City.
