Thomas “Tommy” Melvin Bohannan (92) of Chesterfield went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Bohannan; his parents: Leslie and Helen Bohannan; his sisters: Marion Barlow and Gladys Beck; his former wife Katherine “Kitty” Bohannan and his sons: Richard Melvin Bohannan and Thomas Wayne Bohannan.
He is survived by his sister Frances Kunkle (Freddie); his daughters Linda Bohannan York and Helen Elaine Emory (Randy) and his son Gerald “Jerry” Allan Bohannan (Karen); 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tommy enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR and spending time with family and friends. He was always willing to help others and especially enjoyed working with his hands.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Sunday September 11, 2022 at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, Va. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Woody Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1:00 pm at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Dr, Sandston, VA 23150
