Terry Douglas Bentley

Terry was born September 25th, 1957, in Shamrock, Texas, to Doug and Jean Bentley. He married his beautiful wife, Lesa bentley on July 4th, 1980 and have spent 42 amazing years together.

Terry spent his younger years growing up in Kermit, Texas. He graduated from Kermit high school in 1976, before heading off to be the hard-working man we all knew him to be. He was a loving husband and father, who always provided for his family. His wife, Lesa, was and always will be his best friend. He enjoyed talking about his boys and everyone knew he was beyond proud of both Justin and Shawn. Though Terry didn’t care much for lakes or rivers, he loved fishing, hunting, and the rain. We will always remember him for the love he had for his country, motorcycles, guns, and his knifes. Most of all, Terry will be remembered for having a heart of gold. He could make friends with anybody and everybody. His smile and laughter would light up the room like no other.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Bentley

Terry is survived by his wife, Lesa Bentley of Midland Texas, father Doug Bentley of Midland Texas.

Sons:Justin and wife Sarah Bentley of Greenville, South Carolina Shawn and Chelsea Bentley of Chesapeake Virginia

Sisters: Tina Bentley of Odessa, Texas and Shellie Harkins of Midland, Texas

Grandchildren: Kaiden, Savannah, Jude, Judah, Hilary, and Raegan Bentley

Nieces and nephews: Jennifer and Jeremy Barrera, Collin Quine, Haylie and Philip Snell, Blake Harkins, Logan, Traci, Bentley, and Sophia Harkins
