Peggy Marie Howle was born to Dixie Wade and Walter Morgan on January 21, 1931 in Brownwood, Texas. She grew up in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Abilene High School. She married Bill Hunter on September 16, 1953. They moved to Midland in 1961. He predeceased her in 1975. She married the love of her life, Bob Howle in 1976. He predeceased her in 2008.
Peggy was a bookkeeper for Midland Drug/Walgreens for 15 years and a bookkeeper for Bob’s Rental Center for 20 years. She was one of the owners of B&W Chemical Toilets until her death.
She was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church and the Moose Fraternity.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Ezell and husband Tom of Midland, her daughter Sandra Gamblin and husband Ronnie of Pottsboro, and her son Robert Hunter of Austin. Peggy had six grandchildren, Dusty, Bobby, Clarissa, Melissa, Misty, and Kelli, and 23 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday February 8, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Thursday February 9, 2012 at 11:00am at Resthaven Memorial Park with James Auld officiating.
