Lucille (Lucy) Williams, of Midland, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011. She was born April 3, 1941 in Henry County, Virginia to Kinnie and Lucy Ellen Williams. She moved to Midland in January 1958. She became an avid bowler and a great fan of the Midland Cubs when they came to town. She was also a tenacious bingo player, but Lucy was best known for her sense of humor, which will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kinnie E. Williams and Lucy Ellen Williams; brother, Ken Williams and sister, Dorothy Marlowe. Lucy is survived by brother, Vernon Williams and wife Linda of California; brother, Jack Williams of Midland; sister, Arlene Evans and husband Burt of Midland; five nieces, six nephews, and numerous great nieces and great nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
