Henry "Trey" McIntire Rodriquez III

Henry was born in Midland, TX on August 17, 1978. He graduated from Midland High School in 1996 and was always looking to continue his education. He held a number of certifications that included Paramedic, ACLS, and PALS, among a number of others.

Henry worked as a firefighter paramedic for the Midland Fire Department for eleven years, and as a flight medic for AeroCare, but the job that he enjoyed more than anything was being a dad. His children were his entire world. His favorite activities included taking his kids camping and fishing, a love developed from his childhood with his own dad and family. Henry’s smile was contagious, and he touched many hearts with his selflessness and generosity. He loved to joke and loved to laugh -- often sharing humorous antidotes about his children, siblings and colleagues.

Henry is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry McIntire Rodriquez Sr., and his son, Nathanael Rodriquez.

Henry is survived by the love of his life, Dominga Rodriquez, and his children, Ethan, Jadyn, and Uriah Rodriquez and Briana Dennis; his parents, Henry Jr. and Isabel Rodriquez; his siblings, Amanda L. Hook, Emma Gonzalez, Krystal, Jonathan, Jeremy, Benjamin, Virginia, and Hannah Rodriquez; his maternal grandparents, Ramona and Alfredo Patino; and his paternal grandmother, Lucia Rodriquez. He is loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues.

Visitation will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 29th at Ellis Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 30th at Ellis Funeral Home with his beloved uncle, Israel Patino, officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park located at 4616 N Big Spring St, Midland, TX. Pallbearers include his brothers: Jonathan, Jeremy, and Benjamin Rodriquez; his brother in laws: Eric Hook and Fabian Gonzalez, and his cousin Jose Jimenez. Honorary pallbearers are his two sons: Ethan and Uriah Rodriquez.
