Bobby Dean Hale, age 71, of Midland, TX passed away on Sunday August 7th, 2022. Bobby was born July 3, 1951 in Del Rio, Tx to L.T. Hale and Gladys Nell Bodiford Hale. As a young boy, he grew up fishing the creeks and Rio Grande River in Quemado Valley. After graduating from Eagle Pass High School in 1969, he moved to Midland and married his wife Frankie Williams Hale on December 13, 1969.
In February 1971, Bobby was drafted into the US Army where he served a tour in Okinawa, Japan. After that, he returned to his permanent base in Fort Eustis, VA. When he completed his military service, he moved back to Midland and worked for Drilco Industrial for the next 17 years. When Drilco shut down, he worked for Fuel Harvesters until the company moved to Montana. The next day, he went to work for Quinn Pumps, where he worked until he retired in 2013. Bobby was a true blue employee and provider. He rarely missed a day's work and never left a job. After retirement, Bobby continued caring for his elderly father, Mother-in-law and Aunt while waiting for Frankie to retire so they could go fishing full time.
Bobby was a kind, quiet and gentle man who loved nature, animals, TV politics, hunting and fishing with his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his paternal grandparents, Oscar Hale and Mary Stephens Hale, his maternal grandparents, John Bodiford and Cora Romine Bodiford, two brothers, Jimmy Hale and Eddie Hale. Survivors include his wife, sister Patsy Cook and husband Jim Cook of Quenado Tx, and many nieces and nephews who shall always cherish his memory.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday August 11 from 7-9pm and funeral service August 12 10am at Ellis Resthaven memorial park and cemetery. 4616 N. Big Spring St. Midland Texas 79705.
