Cameron David Broadbent

Cameron David Broadbent, age 28 of Middletown, Oh, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1993 in Louisville, Ky, to Michael Todd Broadbent and Lonlea Jo (Mulligan) Parson. Cameron graduated from St. Xavier High School in 2012, from Morehead State University for his undergraduate in 2016 and from the University of Kentucky in 2019 for graduate. He was a Senior Project Engineer for Boxpower Inc.

Cameron will be remembered as someone who enjoyed playing video games with his friends. He also loved DC Comics, watching movies, and bowling the perfect 300 game. In his most recent years, he spent time with his beloved daughter and wife, often creating new recipes for them to enjoy as a family and planning their next trip.

Cameron is survived by his wife of 4 years, Katlin Raynae (Ratliff) Broadbent; his daughter, Amelia Broadbent; his parents, Loni (James) Parson and Todd (Jenny) Broadbent; brother, Michael (Misty) Broadbent, grandparents, Julia Mulligan and Jill Broadbent, and countless close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather William David Mulligan.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 12 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home in Louisville, Ky. Family will receive guests to celebrate Cameron’s life from 1pm-5pm with services to follow at 5pm.
