Roy V. Brockway

of Middleport passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at his home.

Roy was born in Batavia on October 23, 1957 son of the late Roy and Erma (Cummings) Brockway and he has lived in Middleport for 30 years. He owned and operated Brockway Automotive in Middleport. He enjoyed his family, racing cars at Lancaster Speedway and several other race tracks.

Roy is survived by his wife Kathy (Moore) Brockway, one daughter Marie (Matthew) Grimes of Medina, two grandsons Gavyn R. Snook and Jace J. Grimes both of Medina, a stepdaughter Jennifer Coon of Middleport and a stepson Kevin Coon of Cortland.

Also surviving is a sister and two brothers Gerald (Sue) Brockway of Florida, Norbert Brockway of Kent, NY and Jennifer Morin of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Wednesday August 5, 2015 from 6 PM to 9 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Alabama Full Gospel Church.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Akron, NY.

Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials to the American Cancer society would be appreciated by the Brockway family.
