Joyce L. Labbato (nee Schiffrik), born February 3, 1950 passed away peacefully March 18, 2025. Preceded in death by husband Robert Brooks (deceased 1989). Survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Dennis and their children Dawn Lucek (Michael), Steven Brooks (Jackie), Christina Soprek (Paul), Valerie Bakata (Billy), David Brooks, Daniel Labbato (Joanna) and Cassandra Mencke (Chris). She was a proud Nana to Miranda, Brandon, Julia, Gianna, Robert, Reid, Clay, Kate, Meg, Mae and Evi. She is also survived by her brother Theodore Schiffrik Jr. (Naomi) and her sister Joan Schiffrik. Preceded in death by her brother Paul Schiffrik (Lydia) and her parents Theodore and Viola Schiffrik. She leaves behind a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends who adored her.
She was the most selfless, loving person who was always willing to do anything for others. She spent most of her career as a Tool & Die Maker at General Motors for 15 years. She also enjoyed being part of the Corvette Cleveland. Joyce was a woman who lived her life in joy and faith. There are no words to truly describe how much she will be missed. If there were more people in this world like Joyce, how sweet it would be.

The family will receive friends MONDAY March 31, 2025 2-6 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS. (WEST OF I-71).
Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private
