John Alden Wagner

Beloved husband of the late Stella Wagner (nee LaManna), loving father of Jennifer (Smith), Jocelyn (Pyros), David, Ian, Cameron, and Joshua. Brother of the late Frank, the late Michael, Robert (Bobby), and Eric. Loving grandfather to Gavin, A.J., Sidney, and Shelby. Dearest nephew, cousin, uncle and friend to many. John was a decorated Vietnam Veteran with the United States Air Force, as well as, a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts and Science, and a retired computer programmer analyst. He loved traveling, movies, sports, trivia, food, and spending time with loved ones. He always wore a loving, happy smile and had a comical answer for everything. He will be tremendously missed by many.

Committal Service with full military honors will be held TUESDAY, MAY 31, 2022 at 2:30 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 10175 Rawiga Rd. Seville, OH 44273. On the following SUNDAY, JUNE 5, 2022, friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life held from 3-6 PM at the Fraternal Order of Eagles at 27190 Royalton Rd. Columbia Station, OH 44028, followed by a private screening of “Maverick” (long awaited sequel to his favorite movie) at 7:00 at Cinemark Strongsville, 17450 Southpark Center, Strongsville, OH 44136.
