He was born on September 20, 1956 the eighth child to Luther (deceased) and Bonnie Bias (deceased). Gerald enjoyed watching old western movies with Ervin, and going out to eat with the boys, usually his brother, Randy and Jim. We will miss him telling us how to drive, and constantly reminding us of the speed limit. He was quite the character. He is survived by his brothers Randy, (Joann; deceased), Jim, (Jan; deceased), Ervin (Drema), George (deceased), sister Beverly Shelley, (Larry; deceased), Sheila Kochock (Michael; deceased), and Diana Cramer (deceased), (Jack; deceased), and many loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends.
Gerald loved his family and dreamed of one day making all his siblings rich when he won the lottery. He would talk about how he was going to help everyone live the "good" life.
Every year we have a family gathering and say half jokingly, everyone better go cause we might not be here next year. Sadly, it's true this year. A lifetime is a short time with those we love. Gerald is well loved and will be greatly missed. Until we are reunited in Heaven, come celebrate his life with us.
A Memorial Service for Gerald will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, with Pastor Charles Sallee officiating, at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church located at 3354 Fulton Rd, Cleveland, Ohio 44109.
