When I think about Shanne Padgett I remember how much he loved his family. On their wedding day, when asked if he took Kathy to be his bride, he replied, "forever and ever." I'll never forget the look in his eyes and I knew he would stay true to that promise. Shannne love Kathy wholeheartedly, as well as the rest of his family, and would do anything for them. He was taken far too soon and is missed by all that love him.

I think this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, how can I possibly put how much I love and miss Shanne into words? He was my Dad, my friend and sometimes my twin cause we are so much alike. There was nothing he wouldn't do for me and did such a great job making that known to me. He had to rescue many times through the years but no matter how far away I was or what time it was I knew he would get to me as fast as he possibly could. He was such an amazing grandfather to my boys and so helpful with them. There is a hole in my heart that will never go away. I promise I'll stay strong for Kathy Raye old man and continue to make you proud and be the best mom to your grandsons. Love you for forever

Hey brother, I've been having a pretty tough time with life without you. You are married to my mother which in turn makes you my step father, but I've always looked at you like a brother and a friend. We have tons of great memories together. I know we didn't always see eye to eye, but I think that's because we were so much alike in so many ways. The times you were a little hard on me were for my own good, and I know it was because you loved me. You made my mom so happy and I could never thank you enough for that. There's nothing you wouldn't do for your family. There was a side to you that not everyone got to see and that's a loss to so many. Only those really close to you got to see how big of a heart you had and despite your tough exterior it was filled with love for your family. You went out of your way time and time again to help everyone that was close to you.I hope you know how much you are loved and that I miss you terribly Shanne. Please continue to watch over my mother and keep her safe. With honor, love, and respect; your son-Rob.

Hi dad..I miss you and I love you. I just wanted to write something. It's hard but I'll get through this cause I know you wouldn't want me to be sad. I will always remember the good memories we had and how we use to sit in the living room and joke around about silly stuff. I miss you so much..I can't wait to see you again in heaven so I can see you and give you a hug again. But when that time comes I know you'll be waiting for me. I love you daddy <3

Shane was always a positive figure in my life. The kind of guy that would help you at 2am in the morning should you need it. Keep you in line should you step out and get a little carried away. At the end of it all he was there for you one way or the other. I have nothing but great memories of him. I'm thankful for the time I spent with him. I'm grateful for the memories I have with him. I miss him like crazy.

Shane , we had  a lot of great Memories,, Getting into trouble since elementary school!!! People always getting us mixed up, when we were young... all the baseball games we played together, and the dirt roads we tore up!!!  You  Will Be  Missed

I didn't know Shane very well personally. But I do know he loved his family and the bulldogs :). He will be truly missed. But he will forever live on in the hearts and memories of those who were blessed to know him. Kathy you will remain in my prayers. I love you

I remember all the time we spent together when we were very young.  We grew apart but that's what life sometimes does. He never left my heart or mind and never will.
