Joyce Augusta Young

Born in Miami in 1938, living in Hialeah until 1986 when she moved to Tallahassee, and then Fleming Island, FL in 2014. Joyce retired from Eastern Airlines after many years of dedicated service.

She was a Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Gigi and will be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Sterling R. Young and her son, Sterling F.R. Young, II.

A visitation for Joyce will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage - Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg, FL 32068. A Funeral mass will occur Friday, February 3, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, FL 32068.

Survivors include her devoted daughter, Kathleen Young Cox (George), Daughter-in-law Pamela Young, and 6 grandchildren: Ryan Cox (Marissa) and Kelly Cox, Dustin Young, Casey Young (Kayla), Kristin Jones (Carson), Kirby Young (Megan), and great-grands: Jillian, Brennan, Jocelyn and Emily Cox, and Dylan, Camden, Cohen, and Julia Young.
