John Robert Hoffman, age 73, of Middleburg, Florida passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023. He was born in York, PA and served his country proudly in the US Marine Corps.
John is survived by his loving wife, Esmena O. Lyons; daughters: Jennifer Floyd and Heather Smith; Step-sons: Philip A Lyons III and John E. Lyons; grandchildren: Jade Smith, Alex Smith, Ryan Floyd, Brandon C. Lyons, Jack B. Lyons, Riley A. Lyons and Cadence C. Lyons; great grandchildren: Ellie Stansel, Everett Lyons and Violet Lyons; siblings: William C. Hoffman, James B. Hoffman and Jeannie M. Hoffman; and a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service for John will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, November 24, 2023 at Jacksonville National Cemetery (Lane 1 ), 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218 with military honors.
