I have been a customer of Ron's  from 1964 until now. My condolences to the entire family. Thank you Ron for the years of dedicated service to our city. Rest in peace.

My family first met Ron when we moved to Miamisburg in 1960. My Dad (Don Smith), and Ron hit it off in an instant. Ron was talking about building his own pizza place. We ate there every Friday or Saturday night. My first job was a server w/Ron. It was a great place to work and boy the crowd after the games was unreal. It was a safe place to hang out. When the Burg decided to start a girl's softball league, Ron sponsored Ron's Pizza, my dad sponsored (DOMUS Builders). Ron got Philhowers, Suttmans, Miller's Records and I think there was another Burg Business, but can't remember. Domus & Ron's made it to the finalie and dad & Ron made a bet. Whoever won,  both teams would be treated at Wamplers on Route 4. Well, Domus won and Ron's wallet had to pick up the tab.  Ron was such an amazing man. He was the Burg through and through.

Pizza and friendship, Mr. Ron Holp knew how to serve it up! My dad, Clarence "Duke" Dreischarf would always tell how he was Ron's very first customer. Our family loved Ron and his wonderful pizza's. Even after I moved out of state, Ron's Pizza was always one of my first stops upon visiting Miamisburg. Please know that the Sanford, Harting, Dreischarf families are keeping ALL who loved Ron in our prayers. What a great man! He will be missed but his memory will live on forever. <3

So there is no misunderstanding, Ron always treated my mother with respect . On my occasional return to the burg he always welcomed me with "your one of Mary's sons".

Jon and I went to school together at Carlisle Elementary. 
Tim and Romie were best friends. 
 Ron and Abby bought their house from my dad in Chautauqua.  Then my dad built the Ron’s Pizza house and the Riviera Lounge! 
He and Ron were life long friends 
 Im sure Abby & Ron and Carl and Dotty are all celebrating together once again 
I miss them all!

We remember the night, that Ron was celebrating his 75th birthday. Our group 
of friends had dinner at Ron’s Pizza house. Ron walked through the dining room. We all  stood up & sang Happy
Birthday to him! He stood there & listened 
with tears in his eyes! Ron was a wonderful, generous, compassionate man!

Ron and Abby were the best!  Ron gave me my first job…peeling potatoes, cutting into fries and putting them in the cooler!  Dishes, stocking the cooler and any grunt work and working up to the ovens on 12th St! Proud to be in the Holp Family with him, even tho he was just my second cousin. Provided a great place for us to hang after games and serve us THE BEST pizza , by far. I will miss him.

I remember the day Ron and his family moved into their home on Mary Lane . I was outside playing and went and introduced myself and from that moment on it seemed like they became a part of my extended family! Ron was a true icon of the Burg and my love and prayers go out to his family and friends and all who knew and loved Ron!🙏❤️

Growing up on Mary Lane, Ron & Abby were like second parents to me ~ I'll always remember their home being full of love and laughter. Rest in Peace Mr. Holp.

So sorry for your loss.   I got to know Ron over 25 years ago,  when I started doing the air filter services for the restaurants.   We had many of conversations over the years and he loved what he did.    I always looked forward to what story he was going to tell while I was there,  many he told me several times but I didn’t mind hearing them over. He will be greatly missed.    “The Filter Guy”

A few years ago, my very close lifelong friend, classmate, and teammate Ron Stafford was dying in Phoenix.  I went to Ron's Pizza, told Ron Holp about "Staff", and said I wanted to ship a small pizza to him so Staff could get one last whiff of the fragrance of our beloved hometown treat.  Here's what Ron did:
He called the kitchen staff together, told them about Staff, asked them to instantly bake an extra-large deluxe pizza with extra-extra sauce on it, wrap it twice in saran wrap, put the whole thing in a baggie, and then in two boxes, sealing all the edges with tape so the fragrance couldn't escape.  I raced it to FedEx, which transported it overnight some 1,800 miles - with the smell still magnificently strong.  Ron wouldn't let me pay for the pizza.

Ron was a man that appreciated life. He was humble, caring, generous and loved his family. He will forever be remembered and a part of Miamisburg. May God comfort the family and know Ron will always be a part of them.

Thoughts and prayers go out for the entire family. Ron was truly a giving man. He was dedicated to Miamisburg, city, schools, kids and the entire surrounding communities. Heaven has gained a GREAT MAN.
