Patsy Carol Bussard

age 81 of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, Middletown. She was born September 15, 1930 in Muncie, IN to the late Abbie and Florence (Barrett) Harpst. In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Bussard (1986), an infant son, Jeffery Wayne Bussard, her brother, Norman A. Harpst and her son-in-law, Michael Johnson. She is survived by her children, Lucretia C. Johnson of Miamisburg, W. Thomas (Sandy) Bussard of Bowling Green, KY and Kimberly K. (Aaron) Carpenter of Spokane Valley, WA; her sister, Beverly Jeanne Bishop of North Carolina; grandchildren, Tracy Salyers, Russell Thompson, Joey Thompson, Jennifer OLazaran, Melissa Patton, Dana Lewis, T. Scott Bussard, Angela Creasy, Ben Davis and Julie Davis; 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Patsy was a devoted mother and homemaker, but also enjoyed several opportunities to work as a sales clerk for many local businesses. She was a former member of Christ’s Life Sanctuary and Assembly of God churches both of Kettering. More recently she enjoyed attending River of Worship Church, Miamisburg. She was a generous woman who graciously cared for others throughout her life. Family will receive friends during visitation from 9:00 - 11:00 AM Monday, December 19, 2011 at River of Worship Church, Miamisburg. Funeral ceremonies will follow at 11:00 AM also at the church and officiated by Pastor Torea Galloway. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria immediately following services.
