Laura D. Rogers

She was born on June 28, 1974 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Larry and Connie Adams. Laura was a 1993 graduate of Miamisburg High School and JVS where she specialized in floral arrangements. She later earned her degree in medical assisting from Kaplan College. Laura attended The Block Church of Miamisburg where she enjoyed participating in the church band, helping with videography and she drove the church van. She enjoyed playing softball, going to concerts, wrestling, and attending Dayton Dragon baseball games. Laura had an extreme love of pets including her own love, Kingsley, and she volunteered at multiple animal rescues. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great nephew, and special friends.

Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Manning and Alice (Mullins) Deal, and John and Emma (Masters) Adams; infant son, David Astor Fairchild; the father of her children; mother-in-law, Cora Bell; and her sister-in-law, Tracy Bell.

She is survived by her parents, Larry and Connie (Deal) Adams; sisters, Angee (Chuck) Perry and Kandi Holt (Mark Roark); daughters, Emma (James) Sarvis and Carrie (Mike) Bell; grandchildren, Taeyn Sarvis and Scot Bell; nephews, Aaron (Khandis) Elliott and Liam Holt; great nephew, Orion Elliott; as well as the grandfather of her children “Papa”.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at The Block Church, 434 N. Ninth St, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home.
