Jeannette Huskey, 87, of Miamisburg, passed away November 19, 2018 in Hospice of Dayton. She was born May 22, 1931 in Englewood, Tennessee, the daughter of Horace Greeley and Elsie Hazel (Snider) Jeralds.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Miamisburg since 1958. She was a very active member in the church with the nursery and the youth. She retired from Monsanto after thirty years of service and Excelitas after nine years.
She is survived by her daughter, Shauna (Martin) Brom of Miamisburg; sister, Sue Shoffeitt; six grandchildren, Tisha Huskey (Lee Banks), Tiffany (Andy) Bickers, Nikki (Rob) Smith-Eberhardt, Dustin (Rachel) Smith, David (Liza) Voge and Autumn Voge; one great-granddaughter, Phoebe Eberhardt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, John and Eliza Jeralds whom raised Jeannette after her parents passed away; husband, Freeman Hugh Huskey, two daughters, Debi Smith and Pamela Huskey; sister, Nadine Goodin.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday from 5 – 7 pm in the GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Tuesday November 27, 2018 in the First Baptist Church of Miamisburg, 323 N. 11th Street. Burial will follow in Hillgrove Cemetery.
