Cindy Ann (Herman) Critzer

Cindy Ann (Herman) Critzer, age 65, of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Sycamore Hospital. Cindy was born July 26, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to Tim and Joan Herman.

She could make any craft and sewing project with just a picture for reference. She was creative, and a master of holiday decorating. She liked to golf and fish, and attend her grandkids sporting events. Cindy provided her children an idyllic childhood - her career was her kids and her grandkids. She was first a stay-at-home mom before her recent role as a paraprofessional. She was unbelievably patient, generous, hilarious, witty, pleasantly ornery, and she enjoyed a colorful joke. Cindy had a way of bonding with everyone, especially kids, and making them feel like they were her favorite person.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Herman; grandmother, Ida Garber; father-in-law, Dennis “Amo” Critzer; brother-in-law, Denny “Hud” Critzer; and sister-in-law, Karen Critzer.

Cindy is survived by her husband of 48 years, Tom Critzer; daughters, Alison (Brent) Masters, Jayne (Ben) Dodson, Peggy (Mike) Wszeborowski; grandchildren, Ali Jo (Quincy) Blackburn, Braylen Masters, Phoebe Wszeborowski, Evan Wszeborowski, Denny Masters, Sammy Wszeborowski; father, Tim Herman; sister, Janie (Mike) Wade; brother, John (Connie) Herman; mother-in-law, Peggy Critzer; brother-in-law, John Critzer; special nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and loved ones.

Her family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. A Celebration of Cindy's Life will follow at 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Heil officiating. Casual and brightly colored attire is requested to honor her vibrant personality.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Denny “Hud” Critzer Scholarship Fund in care of the funeral home, 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342.
