Boyd A. Tallent

age 69 of Miamisburg, OH passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Sue Tallent; daughters, Lisa Ann (Tallent)(David L.) Myers of New Carlisle, IN, Sheila Sue (Tallent) (David B.) Manley of Kettering, OH, Shawnda Mae (Tallent) (Shawn A.) Gross of Miamisburg, OH; sons, Boyd Archie Tallent, Jr. of New Vienna, OH, Wickliffe Israel Tallent of Miamisburg, OH; grandchildren, Brandy Nicole (Tallent) (Thomas L.) Benton of Miamisburg, OH, Kyle Patrick Drury, Erica Grace Myers, Kayleigh Elizabeth Manley, Joseph Christian Manley, Emma Leighann Manley; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Cole Benton, Layla Lee Myers, Austyn Cane Benton, Ryder Cash Benton, Mya Nicole Benton; brothers, Timothy G. Fox, Eric J. Fox and many nieces, nephews and friends. Boyd graduated from the Miamisburg Class of 1962. He has been a longtime union member of Local 162 and retired from HJ Osterfield in 2000. Boyd loved the outdoors, was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is a profound family man and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Family will greet guests from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, June 12 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Woody officiating.
