Patricia Lopez Labra

Patricia was born on January 5, 1942 in Miami Dade County Florida; the daughter of the late Joseph A. Mulvey and Irene Bailey. She had a unique relationship with each and everyone of her 4 children and absolutely adored her 6 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.

Patricia was a retired Miami Dade County Correctional Officer of 20 years which loved her job. She had a passion for animals, and her hobbies included grooming poodles and horses. She adored and rode horses most of her life, as well as roller blading and ice skating.

Patricia was of strong Catholic Faith and also ventured into the Baptist faith. Many years, along with her children and grandchild were spent at University Baptist Church and year after year was part of the Christmas Pagent. She loved lending a hand and always helping people in need. She also did many years of Charity work in her “Church truck”!

Patricia is survived by her husband of 20 years; Marcelo Labra. He stood by her side day in and day out, unconditionally, until the end. She is also survived by her 4 children, Brigetta Maria Mas (daughter), Sean Joseph Sturgis (son), Shamus Joel Sturgis (son), Heidi Colleen Sturgis (daughter). Grandchildren include, Sabrina Enciso, Kayla Colleen Chappotin, Shane Chappotin, Samantha Sturgis, Olivia Cecile Ortega, and Lorenzo James Sturgis. Great grandchildren, Julian Joseph Enciso, and Ellie Rose Enciso.

Patricia was a force to be reckoned with and will be truly missed by all. May you Rest in Peace sweet Angel and watch and protect us all until we meet again.
