Dear Family of Lucille,
I so often thought of Lucille, and called her a few times from Woodstock, where I live.  My Mother, Evelyn Streifer, found Lucille a central figure in her life, and  loved her and enjoyed Lucille's company, the trips they took together, and her generosity of spirit. I am so sorry for everyone connected to Lucille.  What a loss.  A larger than life figure who positively interacted with all who cared for her.

Barbara and all of the Friedson family, Lucille was such a beautiful person, inside and out.  She was always kind, gracious, and caring towards all of the company employees.   I have thought of her often over the last 13 years since I retired from Applica.  I am sorry for your loss, and I know she will be missed by her family and friends.



My deepest sympathy to the Friedson Family.  Lucille was very dear to me.  She was a special person who I always admired from the first day I walked into Save Way Barber and Beauty Supplies for my job as secretary.  She was always caring and supporting to me over many years and I will never forget her.  Rest in Peace, Lucille.  I love you.

I reminder the first day that Lucille brought forward the concept. and overall look of Windmere which went on to be a great success. She was gifted beyond words, strong, driven ,compassionate, and loving to all. The world sheds a tear for her and I will always be grateful to her, Belvin, David and Barbara and the rest of the Windmere team,

the O'Neills ( in Canada) were sorry to hear about the passing of Lucille.
We recall her gracious welcoming us to her home on one of our first visits to miami ( windmere office )
She opened her home to us like we were old neigbours
