Yolanda Aguilar Everett

Yolanda Aguilar Everett, age 60, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2010. She was a native of Belize City, Belize and a lifelong resident of Harahan, LA. Beloved mother of Richard Everett, Troy Everett and Scott Everett (wife, Tracey). Fianceé of Gregory Smith. Grandmother of Michael Everett, Tyler Everett, Derek Everett, Jonathon Everett, Ethan Everett, Ashleigh Nagel and Erica Everett. Daughter of Erica Costello Aguilar and the late Pedro F. Aguilar. Sister of Martha Rappold (husband, Terry), Pedro Aguilar, Luis Aguilar, Pablo Aguilar and the late Mary Aguilar and Anthony Aguilar. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ms. Everett was a retired superintendent for Jefferson Parish Taxi Division. She loved music and attended all of the festivals in the area up until the very end. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:00 noon in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s Chapel.
