Tommy Stieffel passed away very suddenly on October 26, 2021 at the age of 71. HE is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Debbie Stieffel, and loving son, Jeffrey Stieffel. He is also survived by his sisters, Ida Miller, Myra Ladner (Herman), and Ann Bateman, he is also survived by his brother-in-law, Harold Wiegand (Cynthia) and many loving nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Margaret Stieffel and his siblings, Aggie Anderson, Nell Bourgeois, Bobby Stieffel, Jimmy Stieffel, Kenneth Stieffel, Jane Olivier, El Stieffel, and Anna Mae Silbernagel.
Tommy worked as a professional sign painter up until Hurricane Katrina, after he went on to work for Lowes until the time of his passing. He loved Mardi Gras and rode for Krewe of Centurions, as well as riding in the Irish Italian Parade. He loved travelling, especially to Gatlinburg and he was a huge Saints fan. Tommy was a kind and helpful person, always willing to lend a hand, and he loved his family very much. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass celebrating Tommy’s life on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA.
