Mattie Lou Bowman, age 94, passed away on November 16, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Foster J. Bowman. Survived by her loving daughter Jean Bowman Barrios and son-in-law Mike Barrios; her grandson Michael F. Barrios (Dana); her great granddaughter Christina M. Barrios; her niece Lou Pullin; nephew Charlie Elam (Dona); grand nieces and nephews Harold Pullin, Will Pullin, Ashley Pullin, Brandon Elam and Garrett Elam. Preceded in death by her beloved sister Janette Elam. Mattie was a longtime member of Metairie Baptist Church. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at St. Theresa on Loyola Dr., and the staff at St. Joseph Hospice.
