Mary Ann Bourgeois

Mary Ann Bourgeois passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at her home in Harahan, surrounded by loved ones. Daughter of the late Hector Adam Bourgeois and Mae Elizabeth Ledet. Sister of Sister Mary Fides Bourgeois, S.S. N. D. and Betty Theresa Monistere. Aunt of Frank, Jr., Samuel, John and Paul Monistere. Also survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends. Great Aunt of Hunter and Alexis Monistere. Age 82, a native of Marrero, La and a resident of Harahan for over 70 years. The family would like to especially thank, St. Joseph Hospice, all the Doctors and Nurses at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and her many relatives and friends. She was a devoted Catholic and an active member of St. Rita Catholic Church, Harahan, La. She received the St. Louis Medal from Archbishop Hughes. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7118 Jefferson Hwy, Harahan on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 12:00 noon with visitation beginning at church after 10:00 am.
